Our sympathy and condolences to Kathryn, Sean and Kieran and the many friends of Ted and his family for their tragic loss. A loss that has so unfairly cut short Ted’s retirement and he and Kathryn’s life together.
Ted spent his adult life in the building and construction industry, principally as a scaffolder, and is well remembered and respected by all those he worked with. While maintaining his Irish roots playing Gaelic footballwith the Garryowen Club with many of his fellow Irish building workers. And after retirement Ted kept up his industry contacts and maintained his fitness by cycling regularly.
Ted will be remembered and respected as a good worker, a staunch Trade Unionist, a thoughtful person, a true gentleman. And sadly missed by everyone who knew him and that’s a lot of people.
May he Rest In Peace.
